Irene Mathieu

I am Irene Mathieu, I picked up painting when I retired and work primarily in oil on canvas. I discovered that I have a natural ability to paint and in a matter of 10 years I have painted roughly 160 paintings.

I love being able to capture the beauty, delicate composition, energy, colour and movement of flowers, the majestic beauty and strength of trees, and to simply reproduce beautiful scenes. Lately, I have been producing large paintings and really enjoy this challenge. Oil painting is a real passion for me.
